Tonight: snow after midnight, roads worst 4–7 AM

Tonight

Light snow arrives after midnight and ends by mid-morning. Expect 2 to 4 inches at the garage, a bit more on the hill roads east of town.

Roads

Pavement starts warm, so first flakes melt. Roads turn slick around 3 AM, worst on the north-facing grades.

What could change

If the band sets up farther north, totals drop to an inch or two.

Watch overnight

A short burst of heavier snow is possible around 5 AM, right at the start of the morning bus runs.

Twenty years of Finger Lakes forecasts

Drew Montreuil has forecast the Finger Lakes every day since 2006, first as Groton Weather and since 2012 as FLX Weather at flxweather.com. Client Services comes from the same person and the same approach: plain, honest forecasts with no hype.

Why a paid briefing

One email. One voice. Everything in one place.

Free forecasts are everywhere, and they don't agree. Sorting through apps, model maps, and hyped posts takes time you don't have at 9 PM before a storm.

Expertise

Every briefing is written by Drew himself, drawing on twenty years of forecasting this region's hills, valleys, and lake effects.

Consistency and clarity

The same trusted voice every evening, in plain terms. You learn how to read it, and it doesn't change from storm to storm.

Simplicity

One go-to source with what you need for your area, so you can stop sifting and start planning.
